Just off of Old Dominion Dr. there is an area of McLean that is secluded, yet at the same time only a few minutes away from grocery stores or shopping centers. Houses located in the Spring Hill section of McLean, can be found with a scenic backdrop of woods. In return, homeowners are rewarded with beautiful views. Since Northern Virginia has four extremely strong seasons, the color of the leaves in the Fall are particularly breath-taking. Setting up a bird feeder or two in this area will not go unnoticed, you might even see the Virginia state bird which is the red cardinal. These are just one of the many amenities that you can find in Spring Hill.

They are the Spring Hill Recreation Center which features a competition pool, plenty of year-round activities for all ages, indoor and outdoor sports, and much more. This place is a treasure to have in your back yard! The second great local spot is McLean Village. This amazing little shopping centre’s two biggest draws are LoKL Gourmet, a delightful little market, and Sweet Stuff Deli, a convenience store but with charm!
Another attractive feature about this area is its accessibility. As mentioned before, Old Dominion Dr. runs right down the road and will give you a straight shot into downtown McLean. The Capital beltway, Dulles access road, Route 7, and George Washington Memorial Parkway are all just a short drive away as well. Whether you need to go into DC for a big meeting, or head out to Dulles Airport to catch a flight, this spot will give you a trouble-free commute. If there happens to be traffic, the metro is a stable of DC and alternative driving lanes include; HOV (high occupancy vehicle) and EZ-Pass Express lanes have been installed and are a popular/helpful resource in Northern Virginia.
