Where We Live: McLean Hunt Estates

The McLean Hunt Estates area is a hidden jewel of Northern Virginia. Specifically, Snowpine Way  which is close to the hustle and bustle of Tysons Corner and all of their new developments, yet not too far from the beauty of a natural park such as Scotts Run. This park has a few hiking trails, one of which leads to a small waterfall… Yes, a waterfall in Northern Virginia! You can spend your days shopping in a mall, or following a trail through the tranquil woods to a scenic overlook; either way your future home awaits here in McLean!

Tucked away by Spring Hill Rec Center, the McLean Hunt Estates allow easy access not only for recreational events, but for school access as well. Northern Virginia continues to be nationally ranked year after year with their public-school systems. This neighborhood happens to be conveniently located less than a mile from Spring Hill Elementary school. This school district then feeds into Cooper Middle and Langley High School. All of which are at the top of the charts for the public-school education systems. Not only is this location a great place to raise a family, but there is plenty to do as well in terms of nightlife. All you need is a babysitter which is easy to find in this area, and Tysons Corner has  award winning restaurants, movie theaters, and Cirque du Soleil even sets up for a few months in the summer. Also, many professional athletes call Northern Virginia their home, and in the spirit of the World Series, Nationals Park is not too far away. Just a short trip on the Silver Line metro into DC.

With such close proximity to our nation's capital, people are constantly moving to this area. Houses fly off the market and anytime is a great time to buy or sell. Here at the HBC Group, we specialize in finding the perfect home for you and your family. Our niche is in the McLean area and 2019 has been a record year for us, completing over 95 transactions thanks to our continued hard work and focus within this area of McLean.

In 2018, 3 homes sold in this neighborhood, price range of $1,168,000 for a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom split level and on the higher end a beautifully renovated Colonial sold for $1,375,000. The HBC Group will soon have live on the market 8003 Snowpine Way. Keep an eye on our website for updates!
