The neighborhood was founded in the late 60’s and features various home styles, from the traditional Virginia colonial to the mid-century rambler, ideally site on half-acre or larger lots.  Greenway Heights has the feel of the country while still being close to Tysons Corner, the downtown of Northern Virginia.

The Greenway Heights Civic Association is a voluntary dues organization for the neighborhood that plans social events, maintains the entrances to the neighborhood and interfaces with Drainesville District Supervisor’s office and McLean Citizens Association. Head out to Great Falls Village for more activities.  Check out the Celebrate Great Falls website for the calendar of events throughout the year:  https://www.celebrategreatfalls.org.  We frequently attend the summer Sunday Concerts on the Green where you’ll see longtime friends and get acquainted with folks new to the community.  The 4th of July Celebration includes a parade in the day and fireworks at night - it truly is a small town celebration!
