I'll Be Home For Christmas

I’ll Be Home for Christmas” is a holiday musical classic recorded by Bing Crosby in 1943.  The words of the song tell the story of a WWII overseas soldier writing a letter to his family.  He requests that his family prepare for his homecoming by including his favorites in the Christmas celebration: “snow”, “mistletoe”, and “presents on the tree”.   Even if he can’t be home in person, he ends the song with “I’ll be home for Christmas, if only in my dreams.”

The carol proclaims that being home is part of every person’s dream.  The words of the song for a Realtor® tell the story of helping buyers fulfill the dream of home ownership.  The Realtor® listens to the buyer’s favorites in a home, such as:  “eat-in kitchen”, “large yard for dogs and kids to play in”, “office space for dual incomes” and “a guest room”.  The Realtor® takes the buyer beyond the dream stage and makes the desires of the heart a reality.

For those who own a home and are selling, the professional Realtor® works with them through the process of not just the logistics and financial aspects, but the emotional ones as well.  Leaving a home can sometimes be a difficult journey.

The theme song during the holiday season for Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy is: “I’ll be Home for Christmas.”  Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy are active and experienced Realtors® in the Northern Virginia, Washington DC and suburban Maryland market place and would be delighted to assist whether for home buying or selling.
