The Timber Lane PTA is a non-profit organization set up to benefit all of the families and school staff at Timber Lane Elementary School. The PTA supports and supplements the excellent education provided by TL ES. Additionally, they host events that bring the TL ES together as a community. Funds raised from this event will go towards the excellent enrichment activities and various school support purchases of which the PTA assists.
“Timber Lane Elementary PTA is honored to be chosen as a beneficiary of HBC Group’s Community Charity Champions. All funds raised by the Timber Lane PTA will be used to help underwrite and support programming that takes place at the school. Timber Lane is a Title I FCPS elementary school in Falls Church, VA that serves a diverse student body. We are looking forward to putting the money raised from this event right back into the school so that students will directly benefit from additional programming that the school can offer. I’m encouraging all of our families, friends, and colleagues to come out and enjoy some great Italian food in support of our school” said Jen Sargent, PTA VP of Fundraising.
Sponsors of the event are: Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy with the HBC Group of Keller Williams Realty, Marcus Simon with EKKO Title, Kevin Dougherty of Pillar to Post, Kathy and Justin Neal of The Neal Team/SunTrust Mortgage, Jim Harris of BOWA, The McLean Chamber of Commerce, and Moe Jebali with Pulcinella Italian Host.
About HBC Community Charity Champions
To date, Community Charity Champions has raised over $53,000 for the local non-profits and organizations. The HBC Group of Keller Williams Realty launched Community Charity Champions in 2012 as a venue to fundraise for local nonprofits. As good corporate citizens, Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy were searching for a means to support charities in the community. The event is held on Tuesday evenings at Pulcinella Italian Host in McLean where a portion of the diner(s) is contributed to the charity of the month. Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy were honored with the Corporate Social Responsibility award in 2012 by the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce for the work HBC’s Community Charity Champions has done and continues to do for nonprofits in the area
