FUNDRAISER SUPPORTING SHARE, INC OF MCLEAN

Support SHARE, Inc of McLean with Community Charity Champions on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 5 to 8pm at Pulcinella Italian Host.

Enjoy dinner and know that approximately 70% of the proceeds from food and drink will go to SHARE long as the diner brings the flyer for the event.

SHARE, Inc of McLean is a non-profit, nonsectarian, all-volunteer community relief organization helping people in need in McLean, Great Falls and Pimmit Hills area for over 45 years. They provide essential assistance through their food pantry, where people and families in need throughout the community can go for assistance with groceries. SHARE also provides emergency financial assistance, used furniture pick-up and delivery, distributes grocery gift cards at Thanksgiving and the holidays, holiday gifts, and school supplies.

About SHARE, Inc.

Share Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1969 by a coalition of local faith communities to help meet the emergency needs of the less fortunate in McLean and the nearby areas of Northern Virginia. They are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff, no office, and no paid fundraisers- therefore virtually all donations get passed along to clients. Last year they provided services to more than 2500 families containing over 7500 people, most of which are children. Their clients include: economically distressed families and individuals, seniors living on limited pensions

About HBC Community Charity Champions

The HBC Group of Keller Williams Realty launched Community Charity Champions in 2012 as a venue to fundraise for local nonprofits. As good corporate citizens, Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy were searching for a means to support charities in the community. The event is held on Tuesday evenings at Pulcinella Italian Host in McLean where a portion of the diner(s) is contributed to the charity of the month. Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy were honored with the Corporate Social Responsibility award in 2012 by the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce for the work HBC’s Community Charity Champions has done and continues to do for nonprofits in the area.
