Haycock PTA Fundraiser February 13!

Come Support Haycock PTA with HBC Group’s Community Charity Champions on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 5 to 8pm. The fundraiser takes places at Pulcinella Italian Host in McLean. Enjoy dinner and know that approximately 70% of the proceeds from food and drink will go directly to Haycock PTA, as long as the diner brings the flyer for the event. The Haycock PTA is a supportive group of parents, teachers, and community members that work hard to make Haycock Elementary School a wonderful place to learn and grow. With the support of fundraisers and volunteers, they are able to continue their work.

“The Haycock PTA is honored to be chosen as a beneficiary of HBC Realty Group’s Community Charity Champions.  All funds raised by the Haycock PTA will be used to help underwrite and support programming that takes place at our school.  Haycock is a FCPS Elementary school in Falls Church, VA and is honored to be a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School. We are looking forward to putting the money raised from this event right back into the school so that students will directly benefit from additional programming that the school can offer.  We are encouraging all of our families and staff members to come out and enjoy some great Italian food in support of our school” – Haycock PTA Board

The Haycock PTA is a bridge between our elementary school and our families.  Its mission is to help our children by helping our school in a myriad of ways, from funding playgrounds and technology to providing curriculum enhancement and working closely with our teachers and administration on other aspects of student life.

About HBC Community Charity Champions

To date, Community Charity Champions has raised over $71,000 for the local non-profits and organizations. The HBC Group of Keller Williams Realty launched Community Charity Champions in 2012 as a venue to fundraise for local nonprofits. As good corporate citizens, Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy were searching for a means to support charities in the community. The event is held on Tuesday evenings at Pulcinella Italian Host in McLean where a portion of the diner(s) is contributed to the charity of the month. Karen Briscoe and Lizzy Conroy were honored with the Corporate Social Responsibility award in 2012 by the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce for the work HBC’s Community Charity Champions has done and continues to do for nonprofits in the area.

Karen Briscoe is Principal of the Huckaby Briscoe Conroy Group (HBC) and author of "Real Estate Success in 5 Minutes a Day". She is an Associate Broker in Virginia, a Certified Luxury Home Market Specialist, and a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors. Karen began her real estate career developing residential lots with the Trammel Crow Company in Dallas, and in commercial real estate with The Staubach Company in the Washington, DC Metro area. Karen has a Masters Degree from Southern Methodist University and her BA from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri – her hometown.
